Design and development of DTV module control and test software, test procedures, and test sets.
Designed “Lab Test Framework” (.NET, C#) for rapid test software development that allowed for a dramatic reduction (2 to 3 times) in the test development time.
Implemented Lab Test desktop applications for DVB-H, ISDB-T, T-DMB, and CMMB module specification conformance.
Implemented dozens of .NET components and tools for test instrument automation and module configuration via GPIB, UART, SPI, and UDP interfaces.
Designed and implemented “Visual Lab Test Studio” allowing the creation of new, complex tests in a few minutes by engineers without programming skills, which dramatically improved the ability to rapidly receive new test data.
Involved in mobile DTV module (DVB-T/H, ISDB-T, T-DMB, CMMD) design and optimization with the main duties of RF path design simulation and optimization and cross-talk issue debugging. Fixed a number of module layout issues, e.g. reduced RF losses, improved reference clock, and ADC clock harmonics coupling, which allowed the system to meet the required specifications.
Participated in module firmware optimization to sensitivity requirements.
